At our recent All-Associate Play to Win Event, we reinforced the values that drive our organization and established key metrics to measure performance in safety, quality, and throughput. Early indicators show promising results, demonstrating the effectiveness of our team’s commitment to these priorities.
A Strong Start in Safety and Performance
One of the most significant achievements to date is maintaining a Total Incident Rate (TIR) of ZERO through February 26th. This reflects a disciplined approach to workplace safety, proactive risk mitigation, and a culture of accountability at every level of the organization
Operationally, we have already seen improvements in equipment reliability and production throughput, which have contributed to more efficient operations and enhanced service for our customers. Additionally, early data suggests a reduction in major equipment failures, leading to longer continuous runtimes and greater overall stability in production.
Executing the Game Plan for Continuous Improvement
Progress in any organization requires a disciplined approach and a commitment to continuous improvement. The success of our 6-S initiative in 2024 demonstrated what is possible when operational excellence becomes embedded in our culture. In 2025, that same mindset will be critical as we work toward our objectives.
With a data-driven strategy and a focus on execution, Zumbiel is well-positioned for continued success. The months ahead will bring new challenges, but by maintaining focus and leveraging the strengths of our team and processes, we are confident in our ability to achieve our goals.
