Hebron, KY – March 7, 2025 – Zumbiel, a leading manufacturer of paperboard packaging for the beverage industry, has acquired Crown Valley Co-Manufacturing in Farmington, Missouri.
Zumbiel has long been a trusted supplier of paperboard packaging to Crown Valley. Following the passing of Crown Valley’s previous owner, the company was put up for sale. Recognizing an opportunity to expand its value-added services and respond to customer needs, Zumbiel acquired Crown Valley. This acquisition will support beverage brands of all sizes, particularly emerging brands looking to scale before either transitioning to national co-manufacturing partners or bringing production in-house.
As a key partner to many of the world’s top beverage brands, Zumbiel understands the complexity of bringing new products to market; and, that many brands require third party co-manufacturing solutions to support initial product launches before scaling production in-house. By integrating co-manufacturing with its packaging expertise, Zumbiel can now provide a seamless, full-service solution that accelerates product development and market entry.
Moving forward, Crown Valley will operate under the name ZumBev. The Farmington, MO facility features state-of-the-art beverage production capabilities, including canning and bottling lines, a robotic variety pack line, a dedicated pilot R&D line—ideal for product development and market testing – and a 100,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled warehouse for storage of raw materials and finished goods. These expanded services will enable beverage brands to bring new products to market more efficiently while maintaining high-quality production standards from initial launch to full-scale commercialization.
